Situated in the Bay of Plenty of New Zealand, Oskat Forest Park is a 300 acre working New Zealand farm involved in sheep and beef farming, forestry and has both kiwifruit and avocado orchards. It is bordered by the Kaituna River and set amongst hill land and native bush, with views out to the ocean. You can visit this beautiful farm, with options including farm tours, 4WD excursions or tramping, with two different forms of accommodation available as either a Farm Stay Bed & Breakfast or a budget backpacker. Staying with us gives you an opportunity to stay with real New Zealanders, talk to and experience our way of life. We get the added bonus of meeting people from other countries and making friends from all over the world. Oskat Forest Park is ideal for hunting and fishing trips as we have possums and rabbits for target practice and the Kaituna river is our boundary. We also have excellent cycling or tramping tracks for you to enjoy. We are close to Rotorua, Whakatane and Mount Maunganui, beaches, lakes, shops and tourist attractions. Oskat Forest Park offers you a great snapshot of what this country of New Zealand has to offer. It is a great place to bring your friends and family to relax and enjoy the countryside.
